Paramount Tuxedo Shop in Rochester, NY

Paramount Tux Shop was a local dry cleaner and tuxedo store in Irondequoit, NY in the 1960s and 1970s.  It is no longer in business and the location is presently occupied by a Stone & Granite Countertop business. While we are sad to see an independent tux shop in our community close, we are happy to welcome all past customers of Paramount Tuxedo Shop to Vittorio Menswear & Tuxedo.  We have an extensive in-stock collection of tuxedos and wedding suits, a nationwide fitting network and a personalized approach to service that you would expect from a family-owned formal wear retailer.

We are located at 1900 East Ridge Road, Rochester, NY 14622, just a minutes from just about anywhere in Rochester.  If you need to call, our number is 585.467.7711.

I am the son of the owner of Paramount Dry Cleaners (Joe Baccari)and the grandson of the original owner, Walter Baccari. Paramount Dry Cleaners and Tux Shop was a family business. My dad sold it after being on the ridge for 44 years. My dad sold it in order to retire and sold it to John Julian. Thank you for posting the info you did on Paramount Dry Cleaners as I have not been able to find much since my dad died a few years ago. PS My grandfather had opened another dry cleaners way way back – probably in the 1930s or 40s. I believe it was called Standard or maybe General Cleaners. Thanks again

MY dad and my Uncle owned Paramount Dry Cleaners and Tux Shop. It was located in the same spot on Ridge Road East for 44 years until my dad and uncle sold it in the late 1980s. I believe my grandfather may have been the original owner. My dad starting working at the shop directly out of WW2. Thank you for acknowledging. It is appreciated
